Jane is an intelligent, neat and deeply religious girl. Mama Mukasa, her mother, is very proud of her, and so are her teachers. They believe that she will excel in the Primary Leaving Examinations and make the school famous. Mr Wetaka, Jane’s Science teacher and a close family friend, however, has other ideas.
